Erectile Dysfunction (Male Impotence)
Most men suffer with occasional erection problems at some point in their lives. These occasional erection problems are normally associated with stress, anxiety and tiredness along with many other factors. Many men feel low sex desire at times or find out that their erection is insufficient for having an intercourse. Some men can not keep a proper hard erection during intercourse. Still many others cannot have a proper orgasm. Some men suffer with quick ejaculation, weak orgasm and painful sex. Now the question is, how do you know if you are suffering with Erectile Dysfunction?
How do we have an erection?
An erection occurs as a result of changes within the nerves, muscles, and blood vessels of the penis. When we think about sex or become stimulated, the signals travel down the nerves and the blood vessels supplying blood to the penis open further, blood is pumped into the penis so it enlarges and becomes firm.
What is Erectile Dysfunction?
Erectile Dysfunction is when you have repeated inability to get or keep a firm erection during the intercourse. Erectile Dysfunction happens because not enough blood can get into penis, or stay in the penis long enough to allow an erection.
Erectile Dysfunction is an ongoing problem
Erectile Dysfunction is not limited to sexual activity only. It could also be a symptom of an underlying illness such as heart problem, diabetes or high cholesterol.
